Reuven Fischer
Reuven Fischer

Administrator

Reuven Fischer received his bachelors of science in business management from the Sy Syms School of Business (Yeshiva University) with a focus in marketing and consumer behavior. He transitioned from sales and account management to the long term care industry in 2016. Having graduated from Quinnipiac University’s Long Term Care Administrator’s program in 2017, Reuven has enjoyed the past few years’ challenges and rewards of the day-to day life as a nursing home administrator and is happy to be a part of the Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitation at St. Camillus family.

Laurie Pompa
Laurie Pompa

Director of Nursing Services

Laurie has been in the health care industry for over 25 years! She has been a Director of Nurses for 18 plus years. Laurie is dedicated to servicing our residents and improving their quality of life through the care and services they receive. Laurie enjoys challenges and problem solving and her strong leadership skills. She looks forward to her new position here at Ark Health Rehabilitation at St. Camillus. Recipient of the Nightingale Award of Excellence in Nursing CT 2015. Laurie's passion and commitment to Nursing is clear. Laurie's enjoys music, cooking, baking and spending time with her family.

Teddy Torchon
Teddy Torchon

Director Food Services

Teddy Torchon was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After moving to the United States at the age of 13, he began his love affair with American Cuisine at the age of 16 and has continued in the culinary arts for over 2 decades. For him, food is very transformational, and can be more than just about the dish. That’s what happened with him when he first started cooking: “I fell in love, and if you fall in love, then everything is easy.”

Tina Alibrandi
Tina Alibrandi

Director of Recreation

Tina Alibrandi has been in the health care industry for over fifteen years and enjoys bringing a smile and lending an ear to her Residents. After transitioning from the IT industry as a Senior Global Help Desk Technician, Tina received her Bachelor’s in Human Services at Albertus Magnus College and has dedicated her career as an advocate for our Elders. Tina enjoys helping our seniors in their day-to-day leisure activities and finds all the new relationships she makes rewarding and humbling. She looks forward to continuing her commitment here at Ark Health and Rehabilitation at St. Camillus as she continues her work on making a difference with our Residents daily.

Laura Rigo
Laura Rigo

Business Office

Laura Rigo has worked at ARK Healthcare at St Camillus as a unit secretary, before moving to our Business Office. She lives in Stamford with her husband, 2 children, 2 dogs and a flock of quail. Laura has provided loving, compassionate care to seniors in various capacities for several years. Her hobbies include music, cooking and relaxing in the sun. Her joyful personality exudes warmth and makes her highly approachable to our residents, many of which consider her a supportive friend.

Portia Frempong
Portia Frempong

Director of Social Services

Portia Frempong received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from CUNY York College and her Master of Social Work from CUNY Lehman College. No stranger to the skilled nursing field, Portia jumped into her social work career shortly after receiving her MSW. In 2021, she joined Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitation at St. Camillus Center as Director of Social Services. Day in and day out, she uses her education and experience to serve the social needs in the long-term care. She consistently takes the extra time to learn of residents and families with respect to their stories and life experiences. To her, the needs of residents comes first and so she uses her position to serve as an advocate for them. Portia cares not only about the physical needs of our residents but also their emotional and psychosocial wellbeing. As a part of the administration, our facility has a future that will uphold its positive values and ensure that all residents are treated equally and with respect.

Lindsey Manetta
Lindsey Manetta

Social Worker

Lindsey received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Human Rights and Social Justice from Sacred Heart University in 2017 and her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University in 2020. She has various social work experiences from working at Adult Day Centers, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and in Geriatric Care. She really enjoys working at Ark healthcare and Rehabilitation at St. Camillus. In her free time, she enjoys art and theatre. Her favorite musical theatre production is Wicked on Broadway!
